American Red Cross Babysitter Training

For ages 11-15 years old
Next Class Date: January 27th

This course provides youth who are planning to babysit with the knowledge and skills necessary to safely and responsibly give care for children and infants. This training will help participants to develop leadership skills; learn how to develop a babysitting business, keep themselves and others safe and help children behave; and learn about basic child care with Standard First Aid & Child/Infant CPR.

American Red Cross Lifeguard Training Course

Cost: $225*
*You could pay only $35 for this Lifeguard Training class if you want to work for EPRC this summer. See the requirements below.

This class is an opportunity for young adults, 15 and up, to earn a Lifeguarding Certification. In this class you receive the Lifeguarding Manual, CPR face mask, Lifeguarding with Standard First Aid, CPR/AED for the Lifeguard, Blood borne Pathogens, and Emergency Oxygen Administration.

You must show that you meet the prerequisites to a swim coach at Eagle Pointe prior to signing up for this class. This course is for experienced swimmers.

After the swimming requirements are met and you've paid for your class, you will be issued your book and study materials. It is strongly recommended that you study the material and practice the prerequisites because you will have to swim them at the deep water pool to pass the course. Private Swim Lessons

Cost: $25 per half-hour
($30 non-member)

Available for all ages and ability levels. All private lessons are 30 minutes and scheduled based on instructor availability for the requested time. Click the button below to complete a form toe request lessons.

American Red Cross Jr Lifeguarding

Cost: $85

(Minimum of 5 participants, Maximum of 8 participants)
This is a Red Cross course that offers children, ages 11-14 years old, a chance to learn about lifeguarding. We offer this course during special times of the year. During this class you will work on earning 3 Eagle Scout required badges, along with earning a Standard First Aid and CPR certification.

American Red Cross Wilderness Training

(Offered as needed - must have 12 participants)

This class is used for people (ages 14 & up) who are in the outdoors, away from immediate medical assistance. This class is really good for Scouts & Scout Leaders.
