Hot stone massage is a unique variant of massage therapy that employs heated stones to release tension and calm the nervous system. The stones' warmth and weight help the recipient focus more intently on the massage, and to be more receptive to its benefits. Please book 24 hours ahead of time so we can have the stones warm for you.

Aromatherapy is used to heighten and enhance the positive effects of your hot stone massage, helping alleviate symptoms including muscular aches, back pain, arthritis, circulatory problems, and insomnia. Choose from several essential oils.

Sugar Scrubs, paired with hot towels, will hydrate and soothe the skin on your feet, removing the outer, dead layers of skin cells revealing younger healthier cells underneath, and leaves your feet feeling refreshed. Pair with a foot reflexology massage for best results.

Cupping Therapy  involves placing jars on the skin and creating a vacuum by suctioning out some of the air. The purpose of this no nonsense pain relief therapy is to revitalize soft tissue, stimulate blood flow, and work out stubborn knots.  You usually will feel a tight sensation in the area of the cup. Often, this sensation is relaxing and soothing.

Paraffin Wax Therapy  helps soothe aching joints and increase circulation, which gives hands a more youthful appearance. The wax's gentle, even heat has a relaxing effect, helping calm and relieve stress in the same way a warm bath does. This is a common heat therapy option for people with arthritis or tendonitis in their hands.  Please book 24 hours ahead of time so we can have the wax prepared for you.

Relaxation / Sports Recovery Massages

Relaxation massage is performed using light to medium pressure. Techniques of long, slow and gliding strokes with kneading movements are used, to gently manipulate the skin and underlying soft tissues, in order to promote relaxation. Massage, applied skillfully, is the most effective therapy for releasing muscle tension and restoring balance to the musculo-skeletal system. Received regularly, this may help athletes prevent injuries which might otherwise be caused by overuse. A constant build up of tension in the muscles from regular activity may lead to stresses on joints, ligaments, tendons, as well as the muscles themselves.


Trigger Point Therapy Massages

Trigger point therapy taps into the body’s internal web of muscles and tissues to unlock common chronic and injury-related pains caused by tension and stress. Everybody has trigger points, but whether they’re activated or not can depend on if an area has undergone trauma, stress, overuse or injury. When activated, trigger points can cause widespread pain, tension, irritation and even lack of motion.


Pregnancy Massages

Up to 7 months into pregnancy. If the client has a history of miscarriages, blood clots, cholesterol issues, or anything else that would make the pregnancy fragile, we may decline services regardless of trimester.

Deep Tissue Massages

This type of massage is used to release chronic muscle tension through slower strokes and more direct pressure or friction applied across the grain of the muscles. An especially invigorating experience, deep tissue massage detects stiff or painful areas by slowly working into the deep layers of muscle tissue. Specific hand positions and strokes are then used to respond to various tissue qualities.


Myofascial Release Massages

Myofascial (my-o-FASH-e-ul) release is a therapy technique that focuses on pain that arises from the tough membranes that wrap, connect and support your muscles. These massages focus on releasing muscular shortness and tightness after high intensity workouts. Many clients seek myofascial release massage treatments after losing flexibility or function following an injury or if experiencing ongoing back, shoulder, hip, or virtually pain in any area containing soft tissue.


Foot Reflexology Massages

Foot Reflexology massage can be a deeply relaxing and therapeutic for those suffering from plantar fasciitis, ankle injuries or common forms of arthritis. Our massage therapist will apply techniques to the foot, calf and lower leg to provide relaxation, balance in the body's various systems, and healthy blood circulation. This will not only help reduces stiffness and improve flexibility to relieve lower leg pain, but can also decrease stress and anxiety in the entire body.
