Yep, it's the truth. While all the other clubs out there charge joining fees, processing fees, and/or initiation fees, we felt that was a little disrespectful. The practice of doing this is considered commonplace in the club industry and most consumers just accept it. However, the reason clubs do this is so they get some of their money up front. These clubs automatically assume you are going to "skip town" on them. They automatically assume you are a deadbeat and you won't completely pay your membership dues. They automatically assume you don't pay your bills! Why would you want to be a member of a club that thought of you like that? We wouldn't and we're sure you wouldn't either.
