Swim lessons are available for all ages and ability levels. You do not have to be a member of Eagle Pointe Recreation Complex to purchase swim lessons. We offer lessons Year-Round from top instructors in the area.

Private Swim Lessons
All private and semi-private lessons are 30 minute sessions and scheduled based on instructor availability for the requested time.
Private Swim Lesson Fees:
One Student $25 per student
Two Students $35 for both (a semi-private session)
Private lesson packages:
Eight lessons $160 ($200 normally)
Semi-private lesson packages:
Eight lessons $240 ($280 normally)

If you do not have access to a printer, we have permission forms available at the front desk. Allow for some time to complete one before your first lesson.
*Credit card information is required at time of registration for all swim lessons. A $15 service charge will be imposed on all unconfirmed absences.

Natalie Pickett (Red Cross Water Safety Instructor) (female) Aquatics Director - Available Classes and Times
Natalie is a USA Swim Coach that teaches all ages from infants to adults. She holds ASCA Level 2 certification, Swim Lessons University Instructor (levels 100-400, parent and child), America Learn To Swim Teachers Stroke Technician, and a member of WSCA. She has been teaching since 2005 and loves to teach children how to swim. She taught preschool before coming to Eagle Pointe as a lifeguard and is now the Aquatics Director.
Leslie Guess (USA Swim Coach) (female) - Available Classes and Times
Leslie has over 25 years of aquatic experience. She swam competitively from age 7 through college. She is a USA Swim Coach and teaches all ages from infants to adults. Leslie has experience teaching American Red Cross, YMCA and Swim Lesson University swim lessons for all levels. She also ran an autistic swim program. She is a certified special education teacher and a former child and family therapist, who loves helping everyone from infancy to adults have fun, positive aquatic experiences.
Kaitlyn Rich (USA competitive swimmer) (female) - Available Classes and Times
Kaitlyn started swimming in 2011 competitively, where she quickly moved up to the highest level. In 2012 she won highest points in the 11-12 age group. After aging up to the 13-14 age group in 2013, she won highest points swimmer twice. Upon moving to Texas in 2014 she has won highest 14-15 age group on the Eagle Pointe Stingrays and also one 1st on all her events at district and 5th and 6th at regionals for Barbers Hill Swim Team. In the 2016 season she placed 2nd and 1st in breaststroke and 7th, 10th and 12th at regionals. This is her first year teaching lessons and has been a guard since 2015. She teaches all ages and abilities.
Mark Licon - Available Classes and Times
Mark began teaching swim lessons for the Boy Scouts of America. To help scouts earn their swimming and lifesaving merit badges, as well as lifeguarding at boy scout camps in the summer of 1982. Mark started working for Eagle Pointe in May of 2016 as a lifeguard and swim instructor. He teaches all ages and levels, from privates to groups while providing a fun positive aquatics experience.
Emma Clary - Available Classes and Times
Emma has been swimming since she can remember, however she started swimming in a team environment in 2009 overseas. Currently she has been swimming competitively for the past two years for the Barbers Hill swim team. Both times she has advanced to region. In 2015 she went to regionals for the 500 freestyle, and 200 freestyle advancing to semifinals. In 2016 she made it to region for the 200 freestyle, 100 freestyle, and the 4X4 100 freestyle relay team. she placed 13th for the 200 freestyle, 15th for the 100 freestyle, and the relay got 5th overall at region. At district the relay was 1st, and she got 3rd for the 100 freestyle and 2nd in the 200 freestyle. She has been swimming with people from all over the world, and can teach all ages and abilities.
